Bend Strong's mission is to provide evry student, teacher and educational staff member in the Bend-La Pine School District with a shared symbol of strength and belonging.  For every shirt sold, one is donated until all 18,600 members of our school community are connected through the same shirt.

This became my mission following the October 15th, 2026 tragedy... a 16-year-old went into Silver Rail Elementary School, and killed three children (ages 5, 8, and 11) and one teacher (25-years-old), injuring an additional student (age 7) and teacher (age 54).  The shooting devastated our small community in ways that we have yet to even fully process.  To the families of the children and teacher who were taken too soon from this world, there's nothing we can say to make it better... the only thing we can do is stand beside you and promise you that the community sees you, we are praying for you, and we are here for you.  To the families of the injured child and teacher, we can't all fix your injuries... but we can show you that we care, are praying for you, and we love you.
