Hello!  I'm Abby Rose Jerin, and I'm the Founder and President of Bend Strong.  I've worked with many non-profits before, but it is my honor to be the driving force behind Bend Strong's movement of inclusion, compassion, and support for all students, teachers and staff at Bend-La Pine's schools.  I'm the mom of 2 boys at Bear Creek and in Cub Scouts Troop 18, a small business owner (I own a local mortgage company, RoseHaven Home Loans), a community cheerleader, and a really fierce advocate for kids... I'll never give up the fight when it comes to the health, safety, and treatment of kids.

Okay, of course this is my husband... but he's a good fit for this role because he manages a team of 30+ people and brings a lot of experience to the table.  He's really good at thinking outside the box, project management, and implementing strategies and policies for efficiency.  I can't say much more without sounding biased, but he's motivated and determined to advance the mission for the kids.  His first reaction to the shooting was to try to establish a small security firm to be present at schools... that's where his heart is- at our schools. 

Jacob is a Non-Voting Board Member, so impartiality and integrity can remain in tact and our family will not carry the majority of voting rights.
